Putting recommendations into action

In August 2018, parties to the agreement published their first annual report, which included information on the progress, recommendations of the independent monitoring committee and the reaction of the Steering Committee on these recommendations. The Steering Committee wants to be more transparent about what happens within the agreement. This meeting is one of the ways to put this into practice.

Workshops on cocoa and increasing leverage

Two workshops were organized: one on the published report on the cocoa value chain, the other on the published report on jointly increasing leverage. Participants were asked to actively think along with possible next steps on these subject matters for the remainder of the agreement. Useful suggestions have been done and parties to the agreement would like to thank all participants for their valuable contributions.
