The collaboration between the Dutch and German initiatives started at the beginning of this year. The goal of this collaboration is that companies can participate to both initiatives more easily, to increase more impact toward a more sustainable value chain. Esprit was the first company that signed the Dutch Agreement through the ‘associated membership’.

Wouter de Broeck, Alsico NV:

“By becoming an associate member of the German Textile Partnership, Alsico NV aims at showing its commitment towards a transparent and sustainable textile sector also to the German market. Initiatives like the Dutch Agreement, as well as the Textile Partnership, can moreover contribute to a harmonized European approach or legislative framework enhancing transparency in the textile value chain. We are pleased to contribute to these important developments.”
