New campaign Solidaridad aims to educate consumers on challenges textile industry
Solidaridad and Sympany have launched a new campaign #Modebewust - literally, fashion-conscious. The campaign draws attention to the challenges which still prevail in the worldwide textile industry.
A website serves as a knowledge and inspiration platform to inform Dutch consumers. The campaign offers practical tips for contributing to a more sustainable textile sector.
The platform is a part of a long term cooperation that aims to contribute to a fair and sustainable textile industry. Special attention is paid to upcoming production country Ethiopia: proceeds from donations will be invested in a joint textile programme.
