With key stakeholders increasingly taking note of corporate impacts on human rights, responsible businesses are looking for ways to actively respect human rights and prevent negative human rights impacts. With the new Business & Human Rights Accelerator companies can learn how to mitigate risks, build competitive advantage and become a powerful force for good by advancing their human rights journey. GCNL and SER will support up to 20 Dutch companies with improving or setting up their Human Rights Due Diligence processes through the Accelerator.

During the programme companies will:

  • Identify their responsibilities in respecting human rights and labour rights and the company’s current human rights impacts
  • Establish or strengthen an ongoing human rights due diligence process in line with international standards
  • Learn how to report and communicate on their human rights due diligence journey, including through the ‘Communication on Progress’, the annual public disclosure requirement for all UN Global Compact participants.
