Side event Global Offshore Wind 2021: ‘Responsible Sourcing in the Renewable Energy Sector for a Just Transition’

On 29-30 September the annual conference of RenewableUK, Global Offshore Wind, is scheduled to take place in London. The parties of the process for an international RBC agreement for the renewable energy sector are organising a side event at the venue, in cooperation with the Dutch Embassy.

The side event offers the opportunity to inform international offshore wind companies about the environmental, social and governance issues connected to the wind turbine production and supply chains. Next to this, the participants will be briefed about the ongoing multi-stakeholder process towards a multi-stakeholder responsible business conduct agreement for the renewable energy sector. The envisaged agreement aims to facilitate and monitor compliance with the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights in the renewable energy sector.

Various parties involved in the process shall contribute to this session. They include:
