Kuyichi signs Agreement on Sustainable Garments and Textile

The Dutch clothing brand was founded in 2001 and is known for their denim. Kuyichi is the 92nd clothing label to have signed the agreement.

By signing the agreement, Kuyichi will strive for a sustainable production chain together with other participating companies. Kuyichi shares the list of production locations on its website and will identify the risks in the production chain.

All participating companies together are covering 48% of the Dutch clothing and textile market.

About this agreement

A broad coalition of businesses, government, unions and ngo’s signed an agreement on international responsible business conduct in the garment and textile sector. The aim is to improve working conditions, prevent environmental pollution and degradation, and promote animal welfare in production countries.
