Alice Bazzano, VP R&D and Sustainability at Trivium Packaging: “At Trivium Packaging, we believe that sustainability extends beyond our own operations and into every stage of our value chain. Joining the Agreement for the Metals Sector reinforces our commitment to responsible business conduct, meaningful stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement in addressing human rights and environmental impacts across our value chain. We look forward to collaborating with other metal industry players to help drive positive change across the metals industry."

The Metals Agreement supports companies to actively contribute to better labor and environmental conditions in the international metal sector, covering all metals and the entire international metals value chain, including metals processing companies and end-users. After a successful first term, the Agreement has kicked off a second term at the end of last year, aiming to improve the visibility of the entire value chain in relation to human rights and environmental impact, maximise the collective leverage of its participants, and set up collective projects that make a positive contribution to people and the environment.
