In the IRBC Agreement, wind and solar energy companies, industry associations, trade unions, civil society organisations, knowledge institutions and the Dutch government work together with the aim of promoting international responsible business conduct (IRBC) in the renewable energy sector. This is done by jointly identifying human rights, environmental and biodiversity risks in the value chain and taking action to address them, for example through collective projects.
CS WIND Offshore
CS WIND Offshore is a global leader in offshore wind foundations, with over 3,000 units delivered, including monopiles, transition pieces, and TP-less monopiles. The main site in Aalborg, Denmark employs over 500 people and carries the legacy of Bladt Industries, established in 1965. Since 2023, it has been part of CS WIND, a renewable energy group focused on tower and foundation manufacturing for the wind industry. The group is headquartered in South Korea and CS WIND is signatory to the UN Global Compact.
“At CS WIND Offshore, we know how important our role is in moving toward renewable energy, and we take our responsibilities in the offshore wind industry seriously. By joining the IRBC Agreement, we’re showing our commitment to working with others, sharing knowledge and teaming up on projects to tackle supply chain issues together. This teamwork helps us improve working conditions, support local communities, and protect the environment. For our clients, it means clearer information and fewer risks, helping build a more ethical and reliable supply chain for everyone,” said Casper Toft, Chief Commercial Officer.
